Mercury: Streamlined Messaging for Club and Society Secretaries

Effortlessly manage communication with Mercury, a chatbot designed to help secretaries of societies and clubs send messages to multiple WhatsApp groups simultaneously. Simplify updates, enhance coordination, and save time with this efficient tool developed with expertise from SAC, IIT Delhi.

Vending Machines

  • Approvals have been secured for vending machines at key high-traffic areas, including the Lecture Hall Complex, Exhall, and SAC, to improve accessibility to refreshments.
  • The initiative aims to enhance convenience for students and staff on campus.

Food Outlets

  • Feedback QR codes installed across campus food outlets have collected 280 responses, leading to warnings for vendors with poor feedback and efforts to improve services.
  • Work is underway to establish uniform rate lists for common items, ensuring consistency across outlets.

Project Portal

  • Portal usage was successfully initiated in Electrical, Civil, Chemical, and Design departments.
  • The RuTag program was secured, marking a significant milestone for platform growth.

Portfolio Creator

  • A platform enabling PhD students and professors to create personal web pages was developed.
  • Functional hosting options were established, promoting collaboration and research visibility.

Hospital Project

  • The SAC team surveyed and made decisions on hospital improvements and appointment systems.
  • The SAC team, with HAC heads, is organizing a health camp in partnership with Blood Connect.

IITD App Project

  • A web version has launched, with a mobile app upcoming. Features include event details, club pages, social handles, news feed, and a “Lost and Found” feature, pending security officer discussion.
